1 of 7
Vehicle Description In it's second year of production, the 1959 Edsel was re-designed, re-styled and re-engineered to grab market share.
Our beautiful 1959 Corsair Convertible was sold new in Cleveland, Ohio at the all new Socotch Edsel.
The car was purchased NEW by a wealthy local businessman, who purchased the car for his wife as a Christmas gift.
Unfortunately, she hated the car and refused to drive it.
The car sat in their garage with just 4 actual miles until spring when it was put up For Sale in the local newspaper.
The next owner saw the ad and made the 60 mile trip from Canton, Ohio the look at the car and ultimately purchase the car.
This car was treasured and never used for daily activity and remained under his stewardship until 2022 when Rally Sport Classics purchased the car.
This beautiful car has just 27,000 actual, original miles from new and is completely original including the paint and chrome and interior.
This car is completely unmolested and looks like it did on Christmas Day 1959.
The car sat for the last 25 years and we took it to our shop and went through the brake and fuel system.
Brand new correct Coker wide white wall tires were installed and the car was thoroughly cleaned and detailed.
The interior is completely original including carpet.
The car is loaded with options that would include:
Power Steering, Power Brakes.
Edsel Dial-Temp Air System, Electric Clock, Power windows, Eight-Tube Push-Button Radio, Four-Way Power Seat, Tinted Glass, Dual Mirrors, Three Spoke Full Color Keyed Hubcaps.
and so much more.
We will have more pictures and full detail coming soon.
This is an incredible survivor that was loved and cherished it's entire life.
They are only original once.
