Vehicle Description Very popular in the United States when it debuted in 1964, the MBG became the second best selling sports car second only to the Corvette.
The GT Coupe came along in 1966 and was perfect for those who wanted that everyday any weather Sports Car.
Our 1970 MGB GT split rear bumper car is originally from Arizona when it arrived in North East Ohio about eight years ago.
The previous owner completely disassembled the car and began the tedious complete restoration.
This car attention to detail is over the top! He was building the car with the intention of keeping it forever.
Sometimes life changes along with priorities and the previous owner/restorer reluctantly made the car available and we where happy to grab it.
As stated the restoration took eight long years and everything on this car works as it should, Only New Old Stock parts were used.
This car was born white and color changed to the era correct British Racing Green with Black interior.
The engine was completely rebuilt as was the transmission.
Updated 15 inch wire wheels were sourced and powered coated and look amazing.
The Interior is brand new and looks like it did in 1970.
Most of the trim has been re-plated or polished.
