Vehicle Description Not many think of American Motors Corp.
when it comes to Muscle.
The AMC AMX was certainly no slouch on the street and on the track.
Our 1969 AMX is quite a car.
A complete rotisserie restoration was done in the early 90s on this rust free California body.
The car was painted to replicate the Factory AMC road race car called T.
E.
A.
M which is an acronym for Technical Employees American Motors.
The original 390 motor was rebuilt by famed AMC engine builder John Edgar.
The restoration was quite extensive and upon completion was featured in Popular Hot Rodding Magazine in May 1993.
The car has also appeared on many Muscle Car Calendars.
This beautiful car has was also shown frequently throughout Southern California.
For being an older restoration, the car still looks and drives like is was finished yesterday.
The car has been updated with a few new parts such as Starter, Voltage reg.
Magniflow Mufflers and exhaust, Chrome radiator, rebuilt heads with harden valve seats & roller rockers, free flow cast iron headers, brakes were completely gone through, new battery, brake booster, carb, and upgraded gauges.
