Vehicle Description Some cars are fortunate enough to end up with a caring owner who stays on top of maintenance and general care of their new car.
Then their is Lanny Weatherford who was so over the top on how he cared for this beautiful car.
purchased in May of 1970 from Hunter Weidner Chevrolet in Anderson Indiana this car was used very little and stored every winter for six months from the time the car was new.
Mr.
Weatherford was adamant about keeping this car 100% original and he kept everything including the original window sticker.
The stock number card that hung from the rear view mirror with the matching key tag.
The original key knock outs.
The owners manual packet is complete with the owners manual, Protect-O-Plate and warranty book, Consumer information Guide, Warranty Summary Supplement , 1970 Chevrolet Color Guide and with the original plastic envelope.

The paint, interior, vinyl top are completely original.
The factory original spare tire is still bolted into the trunk and along with the jack, has never been removed.
Mr.
Weatherford also purchased a new bottle of GM window washer fluid at the parts counter the day he took delivery and placed it inside the spare tire rim and the bottle still remains.
Options on this car would include tinted glass, floor mats front & rear.

Around 1992 the little Nova has about 49,000 miles and Mr.
W decided to remove the motor and seal some leaks that started which turned into a light freshening up of the heads along with a new timing chain and gear set.
The transmission was also gone through and freshened up.
The engine bay was also cleaned and given a light detail.
In 2008 the Nova was selected to be part of GM Century Cruise in Celebration for GMs 100th Anniversary.
The car was on display for the event at the National Corvette Museum which was quite an honor.
This is one of the most highly original and documented Chevrolet Nova's in the country.
