Temporary Shipping Clerk
Graco is a global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of highly-engineered systems for numerous industrial and commercial applications. This TEMPORARY position will support our Applied Fluids Technology Division (AFTD) in North Canton, Ohio. Products from AFTD are used to dispense high performance coatings and foams used in insulation and industrial coatings. This division also includes advanced fluid dispense systems used in alternative energy, automotive and packaging industries.
Job Purpose
To meet or exceed customer expectations by accurately shipping customer orders, achieving on-time delivery expectations and maintaining customer satisfaction
Essential Duties
Run and analyze the daily back order report to ensure on time shipment of orders.
15%
Proactively review shipping methods to ensure customer is receiving the most cost effective and reliable shipping method.
10%
Ship orders out of the UPS, FEDEX, DHL machines.
20%
Create and process Bills of Lading.
20%
Coordinate export paperwork requirements.
10%
Interact effectively with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance and Receiving to resolve inventory and order discrepancies.
15%
Support Inventory Control when required.
5%
Assist with all other activities as directed.
Position Requirements
Essential:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic Math Skills
Basic Computer Skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Accessing Internet
Detail Orientation
Strong Interpersonal skills
Desirable:
2-4 Years Prior Shipping Experience
Basic understanding of UPS, DHL, and FEDEX shipping process
Ability to Process Truck Bills of Lading through trucking company websites
Basic understanding of Export Compliance Regulations
Export Documentation Requirements and Processing
