Working with a $40MM 320 employee manufacturer of automotive sealing systems.
Company contains rubber profile extrusion lines and injection molding presses.
Very clean manufacturing plant heavily involved with 5S and well organized.
Responsibilities:
Manage and direct the activities of the department and train and develop the technicians on proper processes and procedures.
Manage and oversee the department overtime expenses as well as departmental budget.
Work with the Development Engineers on new mold design and process flow.
Responsible for optimizing injection molding process for quality while maximizing output.
Must have ability to perform setups, remove molds and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
Extensive knowledge of injection molding processes, ability to establish, program and maintain a stable process in conjunction with quality and production departments.
Skills must also include ability to troubleshoot machinery and tooling.
Develop new process parameters to improve current and new processes for greater quality, cost effectiveness, safety and productivity.
Develop new process parameters and implement new products and materials currently not in place.
Support production with problem solving techniques and troubleshooting.
Support maintenance when machinery problems occur.
Optimize process parameters to reduce variation.
Training of mold technicians on the current and correct methods to produce a quality product. Monitor scrap levels, identify problematic costs and improve productivity and quality.
Adhere to policies and practices regarding molding department.

BS engineering and automotive or injection molding experience desired. Strong preference for molding exposure.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
