Shear Operator

An established and prominent local manufacturing company is in need of a shear operator for one of its plants. This is a temp-hire, second shift position. This position will involve using fixed and/or mobile shear equipment to make various cuts in sheet steel (and other metals) according to the company's requirements. This will require the candidate to make this cuts (and other assigned duties) at the pace required to meet or exceed company quota and in a safe and ergonomic manner. They will also be responsible for maintenance and accountability of assigned tools, as well as filling out detailed reports of daily production and any safety, production, maintenance, and environmental issues that arose during the day.

- Ability to sit, stand, and maneuver as required by the job, and lift up to 50 lbs

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
