Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of family service providers within an Early Head Start program - Ensure the safety and well-being of children under the care of the organization - Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service delivery - Provide supervision, support, and guidance to family service providers including recruitment, determining eligibility and enrollment of families into the Early Head Start program.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement - Collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate services and resources - Handle crisis situations and make decisions in the best interest of the children involved - Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided Skills:
- Experience working with children and families in a professional capacity, such as childcare, child protective services, or social work - Knowledge of child welfare laws, regulations, and best practices - Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with clients or team members - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, team members, and external stakeholders - Understanding of behavioral health issues and their impact on children's well-being Note:
