6K a year Personal Care Aide At Aspen Health, we have several personal care positions available within the summit county area.
The average shift is 20 hours per week, however we offer full time if desired.
Job Description:
Assist elderly or disabled adults with daily living activities at the person's home.
Duties performed may include keeping house (making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes), preparing meals, and personal care.
May advise families, the elderly, and disabled on such things as nutrition, cleanliness, and household utilities, assist with scheduling medical appointments, transportation, and attending appointments.
Requirements:
-Successful completion of a formal certification training program &/or a written skills test & competency evaluation.
-Ability to pass a background check -Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
-Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a supervised setting, preferably health care facility under the direction of an RN -Demonstrated ability to read, write, & follow a written Plan of Care.
-Good interpersonal skills.
