The Inn at Belden Village is a faith based, award winning, Assisted Living Community with Memory Care, located in the heart of Canton, Ohio.

Our excellent team strives to bring joy and fulfillment to the residents we serve in their latter years, while serving them with respect and compassion.
We boast a gorgeous dining room, breakfast made to order, lunch and dinner offers a chef special and 25 always available menu items in both Assisted Living and Memory Care.
A snack cart goes door to door every evening providing evening snacks to all our guests.
Responsibilities for this Position include:
Evaluate and monitor all aspects of food service operation, making recommendations for conformance level that will provide nutritionally adequate, quality food.
Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate menu patterns under the supervision of the Consultant Dietitian.
Maintain high quality food for regular and modified diets.
Purchase and receive food and nonfood supplies within budget limits.
Ensure that food and nonfood supplies are stored in accordance with Department of Health regulations.
Maintain high standard of sanitation and cleanliness in the Dietary Department.
Review financial transactions and monitor budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.
Interview and hire food service employees in accordance with policy and procedure.
Plan, organize, and conduct orientation, training, and in-service educational programs for Dietary personnel.
Create schedules for entire dining service team and input them into the payroll software, entering absences and picked up shifts, vacations, personal days, etc.
as needed; to ensure accuracy in payroll and to ensure proper points are attributed to their attendance points and Prepare timely disciplinary action, and counsel Dietary staff, in accordance with policy and procedure.
Consult with health care team concerning nutritional care of Resident.
Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints.
ODA conducts bi-annual resident and family satisfaction surveys.
The Inn's management expects that these and other marks will demonstrate high levels of satisfaction with the dining services of The Inn at Belden Village.
It is the job of the Dining Service Director to implement procedures and surveys that will ensure that residents are satisfied with the services he/she oversees.
Confer with other Directors, Residents, and/or Sponsors to accommodate special activities and requests.
Plan, Schedule and Prepare for Resident Family events that will provide food and beverage service to as many as 200 people several times a year to enhance the lives of our residents.
The ability to set up an eye pleasing decorated buffet may be required at these events.
Prepare routine reports and maintain all dietary records in accordance with policies and procedure.
Be knowledgeable of and implement all safety, universal precautions, and company policies/procedures for the protection of Residents, coworkers, and self.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
