Reserve Management Group (RMG) is a family of distinct but related businesses engaged in ferrous and non-ferrous metals recycling, electronics recycling and IT asset conversion services, and other related services.
We are hiring for General Labor /Scrap Yard Workers at our Reserve Iron Ohio- Recycling Scrap Yard located at 1451 Trump Ave Canton, OH 44730.
The primary functions of this position will be to perform day to day labor for miscellaneous task for the scrap yard.
The successful candidate will work with a team of other operators, maintenance, and management personnel to accomplish these tasks.
This is an excellent job for someone who wishes to learn and grow within a company.
The position is a full-time day shift position, Monday-Friday schedule 7am-3:
30pm with optional OT available occasionally.
This position is performed outside Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year general labor experience preferred, but will train the right candidate; Must have basic knowledge of manual hand tools (drills, saws, grinders, wrench, etc) Must be punctual, reliable and able to sustain good attendance.

Responsibilities:
Hand sorting non-ferrous material Perform assigned routine tasks Assist with weighing functions Packaging various materials for transport Disassembly of scrap metal Work in safe manner to prevent personal and co-worker injury Other duties assigned as needed Skills, Abilities and Traits Must be a self-motivated worker and can work independently, but function in a team environment while taking direction.
Ability to perform manual labor Ability to learn new task and trades within an industrial scrap yard Ability to intermittent handle weights up to 50 Ibs Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, which includes prolonged standing, lifting and moving of heavy objects.
