Human Resources Generalist

Foxtrot Aviation Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic and fast growing company.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will lead all HR functions and provide exceptional HR services to our Executive Management Team and our employees.
You will be responsible for our HR compliance, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, employee training and assisting with recruitment and onboarding.
In addition, you will be supporting our Safety Manager in coordinating training and tracking workplace injuries.
The ideal candidate is highly knowledgeable in HR policies and procedures, possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, understands and exhibits the ability to work with confidential information and has a strong commitment to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Foxtrot provides members of the aviation industry with top-of-the-line aircraft detailing, line service and facility cleaning services.
We service a wide variety of aircraft and facilities both large and small! Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, tracking and filing employee performance improvement plans, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, and makes recommendations for process improvements.
Reviews and ensures compliance with all company standard operating procedures (safety, training, promotions, auditing, federal and state compliance etc).
Ensures handbook compliance and drafts policies as necessary.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Assists in facilitating background checks, drug screens and employee eligibility verifications.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required Experience as a Human Resources Generalist or in a similar role.
(Internships count) Minimum 1 year of experience in worker safety and OSHA compliance Experience in full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes Exposure to employee training and LMS a plus Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with employees at all levels Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and MS Office Suite HR Certification (e.
g.
PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
