We are hiring Direct Support Professionals to work with clients in both congregate home settings and on an individual basis.
We have a multitude of client profiles to serve.
Looking for a well-rounded and versatile caregiver to serve one or all of the following categories of individuals:
Total Care (Bathing, toileting, lifting, changing) High Functioning, Mild Behaviors Intense Behavioral Needs SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Direct Support Professionals are the lifeblood of our agency.
To be a Legacy DSP means exuding the highest level of professionalism and compassion as you interact and meet the needs of the clients we serve.
Some days you may be helping a talk a client through an emotionally challenging event and helping them pursue healthy coping skills.
Some days you may be taking a client out in the community to have fun.
Some days you may be reminding a client to wash behind their ears while in the shower (or maybe even doing it for them).
Each day brings new challenges that will likely require you to go outside of your comfort zone but ultimately leave you with a sense of fulfillment after clocking out for the day.
