Job Description:
Drive Straddle to locate poles and arbors, bring into shop, and take out of buildings and placing them in the yard.
Job Duties:
1.
Perform daily shift inspection on Straddle 2.
To locate and move various size poles and arbors with the straddle in and out of the buildings 3.
Operate radio.
4.
Know the Yard location of the poles and/or arbors.
5.
Work with all supervisors.
6.
Keep straddles clean inside.
7.
Work with Mobile Equipment Repair person for maintenance on Straddle 8.
Clean area 9.
Job duties are subject to change Tools Required:
Radio, paper and pens, any other tools to do the job Physical
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift/push/pull/bend up to 50 lbs Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to work in all types of temperatures Must be able to drive Straddle and pass annual test for Straddle PPE Requirements:
Steel toe shoes, Safety Vest and/or Safety Shirt, Gloves to fit the job, (Safety Glasses and/or goggles, Hard Hat, and Hearing Protection when in plant.
