Job Overview:
Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Day Shift.
One open position for a rotating 10-hour-per-day schedule.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, conduct fault-finding evaluations, and maintain hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment in the plant.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting materials up to 50 lbs.

Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions.
Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.
Notes deficiencies and makes plans to address and improve processes.
Improves reliability and uptime of all equipment.
Takes a proactive approach to equipment issues with a preventive maintenance mentality
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years industrial machine maintenance repair experience required (a related associates degree and certifications can be counted as experience) Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
Must have the ability to be resourceful when performing troubleshooting and repairs Electrical experience and troubleshooting are a plus Experience in other fields of maintenance such as plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, welding, forklift repair, etc.
Education Requirements:
High school education or equivalent preferred.
Certification in Mechanical and/or Electrical maintenance preferred.
Will accept those with military experience having worked on heavy equipment.
