46 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago BOARD OF STARK COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FACILITIES ASSISTANT DIRECTOR The Board of Stark County Commissioners is now accepting applicants for a Facilities Assistant Director.
Under the supervision of the Facilities Director, the Assistant Director will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of maintaining County facilities.
A sample of illustrative duties include:
Oversee/maintain County grounds, buildings and equipment to ensure safety and functionality Schedule and manage routine maintenance related to facility and custodial demands Supervises maintenance and custodial work crews to include:
schedule custodial services to keep facilities attractive and hygienic; and delegating maintenance request orders and ensuring completion; Perform and oversee routine maintenance and repairs with service contractors Perform routine inspections of County-owned facilities to assess maintenance and custodial needs Develop and maintain preventative maintenance routine schedules on facility equipment Keep the Facilities Director informed of major incidents that can, in any way, affect County operations Collaborating with the Facilities Director on budgeting for facility maintenance needs Assist the Facilities Director on Capital Improvements and long term facility planning Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance; and Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field is preferred.
At least three (3) years of Facilities Maintenance experience is required.
Preference may be shown to those with added education and/or experience.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical; plumbing; electrical systems; carpentry; custodial/housekeeping; safety and other general building maintenance is required.
Must have a valid State of Ohio driver's license and be insurable under the County's autopolicy.
Compensation and
Benefits:
The salary range for the position has been set at $33.
65/hr--$38.
46/hr.
This position is eligible for health, dental and vision insurance and OPERS retirement benefits.
