As the Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the company's HR activities.
You will oversee all aspects of employee relations, including but not limited to recruitment, retention, performance management, compensation, payroll, and benefits administration.
The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker and a problem solver, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention activities, including developing job descriptions, interviewing candidates, and managing employee onboarding and offboarding.
Manage payroll activities in conjunction with our third-party payroll provider, including processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Manage employee benefits, including healthcare, 401k, and other employee perks.
Develop and implement employee training and development programs to improve employee performance and job satisfaction.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
Conduct periodic performance reviews and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, or termination.
Monitor HR metrics, such as employee turnover rates, absenteeism, and productivity, and develop strategies to improve these metrics.
Maintain accurate employee records, including employment contracts, job descriptions, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and talent management.
Experience with payroll processing and compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and senior executives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of HR professionals.
Experience with QuickBooks Online and basic bookkeeping skills.
