- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Market and advertise available units to attract potential tenants.
- Screen and select qualified applicants for tenancy.
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and renewals.
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment from tenants.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of property management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and Fair Housing guidelines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts.
- Knowledge of facilities management and maintenance procedures is a plus.
