Brake Press Operator
Description
An established Stark County based metal fabrication company is hiring brake press operators to meet it's growing production quota. This is a first shift position, Monday through Friday.
The candidate will be responsible for setting up the brake press by selecting the proper tooling and programming run needed based on the blueprints. This position will involve primarily working with small lot sizes that are generally in steel and aluminum. This position will use precision measurement instruments to check work for quality.
Job Requirements
- Must have two years of experience in machine operation
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Must have an understanding of brake press operation and the equipment
- Must know how to use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement toolsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
